New Month...New Things...

Can you believe it's November? October was a busy month in many ways here, we have had a slew of visitors thus making updates to the blog difficult (not because they tied my hands back and refused to let me near my computer, more because of the quality time I spent with them rather than my computer). We have enjoyed our time with these dear friends and family and appreciate their love and support that they have given us over the past couple of weeks.

Over the weekend I was perusing Craigslist (because really it's a great thing to do) and my husband suggested I look up free things, while scrolling my eyes saw "train table"; I was so excited! Train tables are a useful thing for little boys because they can build and create train scenes and "choo-choo" to their hearts desire, they're also a perfect height for little boys. I quickly e-mailed the "seller" and determined that we would make a 30 minute trip to pick up said table. I did not think about the size, shape or where we would place the table in our small house. After much maneuvering of seats, a carseat and me pointing to my husband to tell him where to put the table, we got it into the back of the Highlander (note: husband did the maneuvering, wife did the directing). We caused relatively little damage to the plastic molding of the inside, but decided it would be a good plan to bring a screwdriver and rope on our next Craigslist find. The table is in decent shape, honestly it could have been sold for money as there is little damage, it has been well loved and played with, but it looks good overall.

Also, because I never shared my "trash pile" find, here is a picture of our slide from the trash! It's in great shape and also could have used some rope during transportation.

Love it! Little man is getting so big!

This reminds me that I need to check Craigslist more often! You never know what you might find!
