Now that we live in the country (with turkeys deer and perhaps a bear). We decided to try out a winter CSA. This week was mainly veggies for thanksgiving along with milk and eggs.
Our selection included:
Pumpkin, carrots, broccoli, apples, potatoes, cranberries, lettuce, butternut squash, Brussels sprouts, garlic, onions, apple cider and the biggest squash I've ever seen the Hubbard squash. Stay tuned for a photo journey of cooking the Hubbard (by far the most fun I've ever had making squash).
