Pinterest project: mind jars

I saw these on Pinterest and wanted to try them out. The idea is that after swirling the liquid you would watch the glittery stuff go around and around. (I saw something similar at the science museum and wanted to replicate it). I used a tube (4 oz) of glitter glue, a tube of fine glitter (Martha Stewart makes some for michaels that you'll want to either find a coupon for or a discontinued color), water regular glue and a little bit of corn syrup and your choice food coloring. The corn syrup was instead of glycerin syrup. We used blue glitter, mixed with gold glitter glue, and blue food dye. The green was done with green and silver. My only complaint is that the glitter doesn't stay suspended as long as I'd like it to. The boys like to roll them around ( I did hot glue the lids).
