We decided that a trip was needed to get away from the cold. According to the weather forecasters, it was supposed to be chilly, rainy, and blah here this past week. So we headed south to where it was chilly and rainy in Tennessee but GOREGEOUS and sunny and warm in Alabama. We flew home to a surprising 70 degrees in April! (Who knew??)
Anyway, in 8 short days we flew to the South spent a brief amount of time in Atlanta (let's not talk about the delay at the airport), some time in Nashville and then a lot of time in Alabama with a brief jaunt to Florida. Speaking of Florida did you know that they filmed the Truman Show in Watercolor/Seaside Florida? They were very nice towns and we didn't take one picture in either (because we didn't know). Anyway, if you ever get the chance to go you should because it's B-E-A-utiful there.
Yesterday, we drove back to Atlanta where the plane was delayed 1.5 hrs. Not too shabby, however, due to the delay we missed our connecting flight in DC. We were given a choice, either take a plane to NYC (laying over there for 3 hours) and land after 11:45 pm at home or spend the night in DC and get a direct flight home in the morning. Considering the little man and the fact we wouldn't get home until 2AM we chose the latter. Whew. We had an uneventful flight this morning and we're back in the land of cloth by Noon today! Yea!!

How did Jakoby do with flying? We're flying to TN next week and I'm anxious to see how Sadie will do!
He did great! He cried a little bit, but was fine with the pacifier... he pulled at his ears, but seemed to really enjoy the shade on the window!!
We miss you already!!!
