Welcome to rainy April in New England. Typically, after two straight days of rain, I start telling my husband that we need to plan a trip to somewhere sunny and that I don't care where we go. Lucky for him, the trip is already planned. We'll be in Alabama visiting a whole host of friends and I don't think that the cloth diapers are coming with us (I know the horrors...well some of you may be sighing a breath of relief). I am slightly concerned about using disposable on him for such a long period of time. It's been quite a while since he's had one on (if you don't count the one last week at day care because I didn't pack enough diapers...oops!).
In baby news, he is pulling himself to a stand on everything that he can...including his little bathtub, which doesn't support him so well. He's learning quickly (through many bumps and bruises) that he cannot use everything to stand. He also loves the vaccuum. He'll watch Kevin with it and try to touch it when it goes by him. Other random appliances that he enjoys includes the hairdryer. He thinks it is hysterical when I blow dry his hair. He still is talking about "dada" a lot at day care he mentions "mama" in passing, but at home we hear "ne-ne" more than "mama".
From the diapering front, I feel like we're washing diapers on a more frequent basis right now. However, we haven't had any more rashes or issues with redness since we started using the all natural products.
In our final bit of news, Kevin got a new-to-him car. He is selling his other car (anyone interested?) and is now driving a hybrid!
