Making wine

My neighbors and I are making wine. It is an 8 week process at a local shop. We chose to make a red dulcetto.  When it is done, we get to bottle it and name it.   Due to issues with our road, we've chosen the name Chip Sealed and Red.  Not sure what "chip seal" is?   Google it.  It. is. awful.

The first step was adding water to the juice, yeast, and oak ( yes, real oak...from a tree...just not one of our trees). It then sat for two weeks and brewed.  I'm not sure that is the professional terminology for making wine, but it works for me.

Week two we moved it from a opaque bucket to a clear bucket. Then we wrapped it in velvet and sat it on the shelf for two weeks.  (it was not so exciting....but we did get to try it....a bit acid-y and not as medicine-y tasting as week 1).
