Adventures with Summer

This summer has been busy.  Over 1,800 miles logged on the car and more to come.   Trips to Erie, PA, Stowe, VT, Boston, MA, Ogunquit, ME, and camping!!

I say it every year though, the summer goes too quickly.   Problem number 1 is my schedule.  I don't get the entire summer like most teachers.  I get a portion of it...5 weeks on the lucky end...4 weeks with snow days. UGH.   So, summer FLIES by for me, some years.   This year is no exception.  

Thankfully, the heat wave(s) of June and July seem to have subsided and I am not sure if I am thankful for the red tinged leaves?!?   The cooler air of nights, means apple picking, soccer lessons, and pumpkin pie.

It means back to school.  I am so not ready for back to school.
