Best post-pregnancy diet, EVER!

I've determined to make the soy free/ milk free diet a good thing. I'm working hard at enjoying it and attempting to find the good in it. I guess the best part of it so far is losing 6 lbs! So, I decided that this is hands-down the best post-pregnancy diet. It probably helps that I had a lot of weight to lose, I gained 50lbs during my pregnancy and now, with this new diet I have about 10lbs to go! Hurray!! I can almost button my favorite jeans! Double Hurray!!

In other soy free news, I made my very own strawberry sorbet yesterday... so yummy. It tastes way better than the stores strawberry sorbet and it didn't take very long to make! All you need is 2lbs of strawberries, simple syrup and an ice cream maker. Yum!

Continuing in the milk free news, I made No Pudge brownies yesterday (they are a favorite). I only had the plain mix in my pantry and I mixed it with 6 oz of Plain Coconut Milk yogurt, made by So Delicious. And they are. So aside from having a really messy kitchen yesterday, it was a lot of good eats at my house.

I found the So Delicious coconut milk ice cream at Whole Foods. I did not purchase it due to the price. They wanted $5 for a tiny container and I could not justify my need for ice cream with that price. Now that my ice cream maker is up and running, I will be accepting all ice cream recipes that have coconut milk in them.

Hmm, not much new in the cloth front. I did use a 1/4 cup of bleach in the hot wash the other day, due to extreme stink. That seemed to help and J's bowels are more normal now. They still are stinky (due to the formula) and a lovely shade of dark green (again due to the formula), but they're slightly looser now. I think that is due to the Karo syrup that he gets once a day and I am also slowly phasing in breastmilk. He's a happy camper.
