And now for something completely different

HAPPY CRANBERRY DAY!! I am so sorry for the delay in cranberry day celebration. Yesterday was National Cranberry Day and I did NOTHING to celebrate. This is the first time in 6 years I think....

Typically I would celebrate by making cranberry themed dishes. Yes, everything for dinner had cranberries in it. My favorite was chicken breast stuffed with stuffing and cranberry sauce and drizzled with more cranberry sauce. Another favorite was green beans with craisins and Gorgonzola cheese (I miss cheese).

So in honor of Cranberry Day, I have found some websites to share with all of you about cranberries.
For good pumpkin cranberry bread
For many cranberry recipes
You would not believe how many good cranberry recipes are out there. Cranberries are so good and so good for you and in season!! Just one word of advice, do not attend the Cranberry Festival in Carver, MA. It's not nearly as Cran-tastic as it sounds!!

PS I went to the grocery store today to get some cranberries and they were out. Can you believe that? There were no fresh cranberries and no frozen cranberries (not that I've ever seen frozen cranberries). But living here in New England there should be fresh cranberries.
