Today there was an explosion in J's pants. I found that due to the elastic waist in the back of the diaper, it held the mess in his diaper....had it been a disposable diaper I think he would have needed an outfit change. Most cloth diapers cinch tighter than disposables in the back. They have elastic around the back to help with the fit. The elastic was a lifesaver today.
Last week he was wearing a disposable in the middle of the night I changed him and found him with a huge mess in his pants and up his backside with a good portion of it in his pjs. Poor baby. So that said, the cloth did a great job today :)
He was wearing white Bum Genius 3.0s. I'll let you know how it comes out in the laundry.....
