A bib review

A what review? A bib review, because there are plenty of bibs both expensive and not that look wonderful and are not. We've bought 6 bibs thus far (well easy to wipe down bibs). They've ranged in price from $4-8, (the $8 being two). We have found that we like two of them and have had to stop using the others.

Anyway, the brand Circo is awful, the velcro (or whatever it is that is used to stick the back part together) stops working after a while and the decorations on the front start to fade away. I absolutely love the JJ Cole bib with snaps, yes snaps, that must have come out recently. It has three sizes and a pocket. Little man has a difficult taking it off...it is a good thing.

We also like our Bumkins bib. It is a velcro closure, however, the velcro isn't cheap and doesn't stop working after a couple months of use. Also the design isn't painted on so it doesn't come off with a quick wipe down.

So when searching for a bib, find one that doesn't look like it has a design painted on, can be easily washed, and preferably has snaps.

The Bumkins bib's longer velcro strip allows for sizing. Other bibs just have one size.

Thanks for the recommendation. We're just about to enter the bib phase!
