his recipe that promised a lot of rise in the cake, I was hooked. It was rather disappointing when I discovered that the rise was due to a product I didn't have. Then I realized that I didn't have sweet rice flour. I own white rice and brown rice flour, but no sweet rice. So, I substituted for brown rice. The cake turned out nice and soft with good rise , even without the special product. Yea!! My father even had 2 helpings. And he is very picky with the gluten free stuff.
