As all of you faithful readers know, I have issues with stink. Well, microfiber stink. The stink is due to many things...build up of soap, whatever may be lurking in my town water and continual use. To combat the stink I have tried 3 different types of laundry detergent (Sun, Planet, and Rockin' Green).
I switched to Rockin' Green due to the reviews from other Rockin' users. Yet I still had stink.
I would do a monthly (or when I would think about it) bleaching of all my inserts. On Wednesday, I pulled my diapers out of the dryer and said, "yuck!", and proceeded to tell my husband to leave them there I would bleach them on Thursday. On Thursday I had a package (expected) waiting for me by the door... and my newest detergent was in there Hard Rock Rockin' Green. It is specially formulated for hard/soft water....and it produced A CLOTH DIAPER MIRACLE! When I first opened the laundry machine to move the inserts into the dryer I was amazed... I didn't smell anything! I then opened the dryer and took a breath...again no stink! I didn't need the bleach. By the way my scent is Smashing Watermelons.
