Pinterest project: mold

Hot, humid weather = mold around these parts. Little man's chairs were the victims. Thankfully, I pinned a recipe for easy mold remover and the chairs did not need to be dumped. The recipe is : 1 cup water 1/2 cup of hydrogen peroxide and a couple of drops of tea tree oil. The oil did not make the picture.  Before is the upper left corner (with the mixture on it) and the big picture on the right is the after..No more black!!   I also needed a toothbrush and a little strength to get it clean, but it's usable again.  (oh,...and a close up of the island counter top... nice)
